Sea-buckthorn powder is a good source of healthy omega fatty acids
Sea-buckthorn is known as the most nutritious wild berry the Arctic nature has to offer. Sea-buckthorn is particularly valued for its precious seed oil which contains plenty of the good omega-3, -6, -7 and -9 fatty acids. Sea-buckthorn also contains vitamins A, -B, -C, -E and -K, carotenoids, iron, fiber, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and zinc.
The Arctic Pure sea-buckthorn powder is made from the nutritious seeds and peels of sea-buckthorn, the side-products of making sea-buckthorn juice. Therefore the sea-buckthorn powder also contains the good fatty acids of the seeds.
How to use sea-buckthorn powder
Sea-buckthorn is known for its strong and tart flavor. You can add sea-buckthorn powder for example to yogurt, porridge, muesli or smoothie.
