VALO 24h makes flaxseed products from Finnish flax. Flaxseeds contain plenty of omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, protein, magnesium and antioxidants which makes it a true superfood. The flaxseed used in the products of VALO 24h are roasted with a unique technology which improves the microbiological quality of the seeds, makes them preserve longer and give them a nutty flavor.
You can find whole flaxseeds, ground flaxseeds and flaxseeds mixed with berry powders in the selection of VALO 24h. You can add the flaxseeds to for example smoothies, porridge or yogurt and improve the nutritional content of the meal with the snap of fingers!
All VALO 24h products are gluten free and made in a factory which only makes gluten-free products and ingredients.
Flax is a food and fiber crop cultivated in temperate climates. The Nordic climate provides an excellent habitat for flax: the light summers make the flax grown more nutritious than anywhere else in the world. Finnish flax contains 10-15 % more omega-3 fatty acids than flax grown in southern latitudes. This is also what the brand’s name refers to (valo=’light’ in Finnish).
