The taste of roasted hemp seed is much tastier than normal hemp seed. The seeds are good as such for snacking. They can also be used for porridge, smoothie, yogurt, salad, cooking and baking.
Finnish hemp seed contains almost complete food content. The seed is unprocessed, whole and finished with an excellent source of protein and energy as such. The seed contains all eight amino acids necessary for our body, as well as 12 other amino acids. Hemp seed contains omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in a perfect ratio for humans (1:3). Hemp sees is also one of the few seeds with leafy green as well as valuable gammalinolenic acid (GLA) 4% and stearidonic acid (SDA) 2%. The seed also contains three times more vitamin E than flax seed.

Hemp has excellent nutritional values. Hemp seeds contain a lot of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Hemp also contains plenty of protein but very little carbohydrates which is why it is an ideal component of a ketogenic diet. The proteins of hemp are also in an easily digestible form. Hemp is easy to add to a daily diet: for example ground hemp seeds can be added to smoothies, porridge or yogurt.

Seeds contain a lot of good fatty acids, dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals and vegetable protein. 100 grams of seeds contain 33–76 g of fat depending on the variety. Especially hemp seeds and flaxseeds contain plenty of the necessary omega 3 fatty acid, alpha linoleic acid. The recommended daily intake of seeds is 3 0 g.
