The apothecary Peter Möller was quite the visionary when he developed the Möller cod liver oil 160 years ago. Ever since then this classic oil rich in essential omega-3 fatty acids has been an essential part of the health of the Northern folks.
Reliability and pureness of the production process
The whole production process of Möller cod liver oil from fishing to bottling of the ready-made oil is carried out in Norway. The cod are caught from the shores of northwest Norway by local fishermen. Möller has strict criteria for the suppliers of fish oil and cod liver oil and the requirements for the ingredients is high. The production facilities are regularly audited. The origin of the ingredients are traceable and the processing of fish oil and cod liver oil is carried out in Möller’s own facilities.
Sustainable development of natural resources is important for Möller since overfishing is a real problem in many seas of the world. Möller cod liver oil has been granted the MSC certificate as a proof of following the principles of sustainable fishing.
Möller cod liver oil supports your health in various ways
Möller cod liver oil contains many essential and vital nutrients, such as omega-3 fatty acids (DHA+EPA) as well as vitamins A, D and E which are important for the function of the heart, the brain and the immune system.
One teaspoon (5 ml) of Möller cod liver oil contains 1200 mg of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins A, D and E. DHA and EPA support heart functions*. DHA is also important for brain functions and sight**. Vitamin is essential for the immune system and bones. Vitamin A is also important for the immune system and contributes to normal sight. Vitamin E is an antioxidant which protects the cells of the body from oxidative stress.

The cod liver oil is available in two flavors and bottle sizes
Möller cod liver oil is available in two sizes, 250 ml and 500 ml. You can also choose between unflavored and lemon-flavored oil. The recommended daily dosage is 5 ml or one teaspoon. The opened bottle can be kept in the refrigerator for about three months.
