Versatile nutrition makes good
A healthy diet contains at least half a kilo of vegetables, fruits and berries, good fats, whole grains and high-quality protein sources, moderately red meat, and 2-3 liters of water a day. Did you know that healthy dietary patterns can reduce risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers?
Food is not just fuel
The most important thing in composing a well-being diet is to:
- invest in the amount of nutrients, ie vegetables, fruits and berries
- adequate intake of nutrients, ie reasonable dose sizes
- regularity of meals
- calm eating
After a meal you should feel good and energetic – not need for a nap. Eating should not be just fueling, and it should not be a blame for guilt. Common, unhurried moments with family or friends increase the goodness of eating.
Contribute to your diet! It's the decision you won't regret.
