Use Finnish thyme for meat and vegetable stews and potato dishes. Thyme is the perfect pairing for other herb mixes with herbs that are milder in flavour.
Thyme does not lose its flavour, even in dishes that are cooked for long periods of time. Do as the Romans do and use thyme to season cabbage rolls, pea soup, sauces, marinades and stews. Thyme is also often a perfect complementary flavour for cheeses.
