An all natural, Nordic sweetener. Sweet and fresh birch sugar, xylitol, is a delicious pair with the slightly bitter, wild and nutrient rich Nordic lingonberry. Perfect for smoothies and teas and sprinkled on top of pancakes, crepes, yogurt and oatmeal. Xylitol takes heat well and can also be used in baking.

Lingonberry

Try using our Lingonberry or Wild Blueberry Xylitol to make your toast glass and party food look extra chique and beautiful. Our Berry Xylitols work well as a coating on your glass or sprinkled on top of desserts.

Lingonberry is a native Nordic berry that grows wild in the pure and pristine Nordic forests. Xylitol, Birch sugar, is highly resistant to heat, which makes it suitable for baking. Birch sugar – or in other words xylitol – is a fresh tasting, all natural sweetener and substitute for white sugar. It contains 40% fewer calories than regular sugar. Our xylitol is produced in Finland using the side stream fibre waste from the wood industry, meaning less waste and more delicious, sustainable culinary adventures!

Treasures of the Finnish forests

Treasures of the Finnish forests
Finland is one of the world’s most forest-rich countries with over 80 % of our land area covered in forests. Anyone can also enjoy the wonderful benefits that these forests offer: our everyman’s rights guarantee that anyone can roam freely in nature and enjoy nature’s givings regardless of who owns the land. The Finnish forests are the home of some of the purest and the most nutritious natural foods in the world. Our forests are full of berries, mushrooms and wild herbs that grow from the cleanest soil and are fed by the purest water and air. The harsh winters yet light summers make the plants grow particularly rich in nutrients.
