On the Ostrobothnian plains, the aronia berry ripens into one of the world's most nutritious berries. During the bright summer, the plants grow strong while the long and dark winter contributes with favorable rest. The Ostrobothnian nature, the rainy summers and the nutrient-rich soil make the berries real antioxidant bombs, hard to find in other latitudes.

Aronia berries contain the most antioxidants of any other berry in the world
The dark blue color of Aronia testifies to the abundant antioxidant content, including phenols and anthocyanins. Aronia berries have even more antioxidants than, for example, wild blueberries.
