SunSpelt Organic Spelt Porridge
A thin porridge flake is made by flattening a whole spelt grain with no other processing.
These flakes make an excellent porridge. You can also substitute other flour partly with these flakes when making rolls, bread or pizza or pie dough. You can also use the spelt flakes as breadcrumbs and roasted in granola. The flakes are really good also in meat loaf and meatballs.
When baking with spelt, leave the dough looser than you normally would – you can substitute any flour with spelt, partly or wholly. Spelt is a tasty and highly nutritious indigenous grain.
