Biomed Herbal Mixture is built in the manner of a traditional herbal mixture: several herbs extracted together rather than one isolated compound. The extracts are sundew (Drosera rotundifolia), liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) and chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla), and alongside them are six essential oils.

The extraction uses vegetable glycerol rather than alcohol, which is unusual for a herbal mixture and is the reason it contains no alcohol.

The three extracts

Sundew helps maintain the health of the respiratory tract and is soothing for the throat and pharynx. Liquorice root soothes the upper respiratory tract and helps keep the airways clear. Chamomile contributes to optimal relaxation and is soothing for the mouth and throat.

The six essential oils

Peppermint and sage oils are steam distilled from the fresh flowering aerial parts of the plants, anise oil from dried anise fruit, thyme oil from fresh flowering thyme, lavender oil from lavender flower spikes, and clove oil from the dried flower buds of the clove tree.

Usage

Recommended daily dose: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) three to four times a day. Shake before use. For adults.
