Vitatabs Folate is a Finnish food supplement that provides 400 µg of folate (folic acid, vitamin B9) in an easy-to-use orodispersible tablet. The product contains Quatrefolic, a bioactive form of folate (L-methylfolate).

Folate contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy, to normal blood formation and has a role in the process of cell division. It also contributes to normal psychological function, the normal functioning of the immune system, normal homocysteine metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Bioactive Quatrefolic folate

The folate in Vitatabs Folate is provided as Quatrefolic, a form of folate known as L-methylfolate. This is a bioactive form of folate. Each daily tablet contains 400 µg of folate, corresponding to 200% of the nutrient reference value.

Folate is a water-soluble vitamin that acts as a coenzyme in the metabolism of amino acids and nucleotides. Good dietary sources of folate include fresh vegetables, fruits and berries, beans, whole grains and liver.

Suitable for various diets

Vitatabs Folate is free from lactose, yeast and gluten and is suitable for vegans. The product is produced in Finland and contains mannitol and corn starch as base ingredients, with magnesium salts of fatty acids as the emulsifier. Usage

1 tablet per day for adults. Let the tablet dissolve in your mouth.
