Discover the Finnish way to slow down in Lakeland

Discover the Finnish way to slow down in Lakeland

What does a true Finnish summer feel like? For many Finns, it means stepping away from noise, spending time in nature, and enjoying simple moments by the lake. Now, Visit Finland is inviting international travellers to experience exactly that through a special opportunity in the heart of Finnish Lakeland.

As the world becomes busier and more connected, more people are looking for calmer and more meaningful ways to travel. Finnish summer culture offers a different rhythm. It is built around stillness, fresh air, sauna, forest walks, lake views, and time to fully switch off. This is one of the reasons Finland continues to inspire people around the world with its close relationship to nature and everyday balance.

Visit Finland has launched a new challenge that gives six lucky duos the chance to win a free, all-expenses-paid seven-day escape to Finnish Lakeland in June 2026. The experience is designed to introduce travellers to the art of Finnish holidaying in one of Europe’s most peaceful natural regions.

Finnish Lakeland is Europe’s largest lake district, known for its calm waters, forested landscapes, and unhurried atmosphere. It is the kind of place where summer days are spent hiking, swimming, enjoying the sauna, tasting local countryside food, and simply letting nature do its work. For Finns, this way of life is not about excess. It is about space, serenity, and reconnecting with what matters.

We at Arctic Pure love sharing Finnish culture and everyday wellbeing with our community, which is why we wanted to highlight this beautiful campaign. If you have ever dreamed of experiencing a Nordic summer in an authentic and restorative way, this is a wonderful opportunity to take part.

How to apply

To join the challenge, applicants need to complete a two-step application process. First, share a short introduction video on Instagram or TikTok explaining why a Finnish summer escape in Lakeland would be meaningful to you. Then, complete the mandatory application form at ChillLikeaFinn.com.

Application deadline

Applications close on 29 March 2026 at 23:59 EEST. Six selected duos will win a free, all-expenses-paid trip to Finnish Lakeland in June 2026.

Why this story matters to us

At Arctic Pure, we believe Finnish wellbeing is deeply connected to nature, balance, and simple daily rituals. This campaign captures that spirit beautifully. It is a reminder that sometimes the most valuable luxury is time to pause, breathe, and enjoy life at a gentler pace.

If this sounds like your kind of summer, now is the perfect time to apply and discover how to chill like a Finn.
