The best before date is NOT the last day of use
The best before date of a product does not mean the same as the last day of use. It is perfectly fine to use vitamins, natural products as well as cosmetics long after the best before date.
According to the Finnish law, it is permitted to sell products even after their best before date has passed – provided that the information about the date is clearly available to the consumer when making the purchase decision.
