Goodio Sweet Dreams is a dark craft chocolate made for the end of the day. Stone-ground organic cacao is combined with chamomile, valerian root, L-tryptophan, L-theanine and reishi, and the bar is sweetened with coconut palm sugar.

The star-patterned wrapper makes the intended moment obvious. Four squares is the serving Goodio suggests, so one bar covers several evenings.

What is in the bar

Chamomile is the flower familiar from evening tea, and valerian is a long-established European herb. L-tryptophan and L-theanine are amino acids, the latter found naturally in tea. Reishi is a mushroom with a long history of use in Asia. One bar contains approximately 500 mg valerian root extract, 240 mg L-tryptophan, 120 mg L-theanine and 120 mg reishi.

Valerian helps sleep onset and helps maintain a natural sleep, and supports calmness in times of tension and stress. Chamomile contributes to optimal relaxation. Reishi contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
