The Moomin Tea Calendar from the Finnish tea company Nordqvist counts down to Christmas with a tea for every day from 1 to 24 December. Behind each numbered door is a heart-shaped sachet holding one pyramid tea bag.

The twelve blends range from lemon black tea to dessert-inspired rooibos. Each flavour appears twice, so a tea you liked early in the month comes round again later. The lid folds out to act as a stand, which keeps the calendar upright on a shelf or table. Net weight 41.5 g.

The twelve flavours

The calendar contains two tea bags of each flavour:

• Sweetheart (1.75 g): black tea, wild strawberry flavour
• Tangy Trick (1.75 g): rooibos, lemon tart and vanilla flavour
• You'll See (1.75 g): rooibos, chocolate cake flavour
• Go for It! (1.75 g): black tea, blueberry muffin flavour
• Sunshine (1.75 g): rooibos, orange flavour
• Circus Fun (1.75 g): black tea, popcorn and caramel flavour
• Garden Delights (1.5 g): green tea, peach flavour
• Me Too (1.75 g): rooibos, strawberry and vanilla flavour
• Ready to Go (1.75 g): rooibos, banana and vanilla flavour
• Moominmamma's Magic Potion (1.75 g): black tea, rhubarb and strawberry flavour
• Fluffy Clouds (1.75 g): rooibos with chamomile and cinnamon, vanilla, cinnamon and aloe vera flavour
• I Should Know (1.75 g): black tea, lemon flavour

The tea bags are made from paper-based, biodegradable wood fibre and contain no plastic, so they can go in food or garden waste according to local guidelines.
