Goodio Natural Focus is a dark craft chocolate built on stone-ground organic cacao, with magnolia berry, lion's mane, rhodiola and cordyceps added to it. Coconut palm sugar replaces refined sugar, so the bar tastes deep rather than sharply sweet.

Goodio suggests four squares at a time, which makes one 48 g bar last through several breaks rather than a single sitting.

Mushrooms and plants alongside cacao

Magnolia berry, or schisandra, is a berry long used in Asia. Lion's mane is a distinctive white edible mushroom and cordyceps another mushroom with a long history of traditional use. Rhodiola is a northern mountain plant that also grows in Finnish Lapland. One bar contains approximately 500 mg magnolia berry, 400 mg lion's mane, 150 mg rhodiola extract and 150 mg cordyceps.

Schisandra is an adaptogen that supports mental wellbeing. Rhodiola helps the body adapt to emotional stress and physical effort, and supports mental performance.

Three chocolates for different moments

Goodio's functional chocolates combine stone-ground organic cacao with selected plant and mushroom ingredients. There are three in the range: Natural Focus, Calm & Balanced with ashwagandha, lion's mane, L-theanine and reishi, and Sweet Dreams with chamomile, valerian, L-tryptophan and reishi.

Goodio is a Finnish craft chocolate maker based in Vantaa. The cacao beans are stone-ground slowly, and the chocolate is sweetened with coconut palm sugar instead of refined sugar.
