Moi Forest Glow Serum is a light, fragrance-free face serum with a short ingredient list: fifteen ingredients, all of natural origin, nearly 22% of them from organic farming. It is designed to go on clean skin, morning and evening, under a cream or oil.
Fragrance-free is the practical point here. Natural cosmetics often lean on essential oils for scent, which is precisely what reactive skin does not want.
The ingredients
Maitake (Grifola frondosa) extract is the organic mushroom extract at the centre of the formula. Sea buckthorn seed oil contributes omega fatty acids, beta-carotene and naturally occurring vitamin E. Birch sap, tapped in the Finnish spring, is mineral-rich and works with xylitol, which is derived from birch, as the moisturising base. Sweetgrass (Hierochloe odorata), known in Finland as maariantuoksuheinÀ, completes the northern set.
The serum moisturises the skin, leaves it feeling soft and smooth, and helps the skin look brighter and more even.
How to fit it into a routine
The serum is light enough to sit under anything. Moi Forest suggests using it after the Rain Face Mist and before a cream or the Microbiome Magic Oil.
Moi Forest
Moi Forest is a Finnish natural cosmetics brand built around ingredients from the forest: birch sap, Lapland spring water, oat, lingonberry and, in several products, a humus extract drawn from forest soil. The products are made in Finland, certified Cosmos Organic, vegan and not tested on animals, and the cartons use around 75% less plastic than conventional packaging.
Usage
Apply morning and evening directly to clean skin, or after a face mist. Follow with a moisturiser or face oil if you use one.

Yes. No perfume and no added essential oils.
What size is the bottle?
30 ml.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
It is fragrance free and the ingredient list is short, which is usually what sensitive skin needs. As with any new product, test it on a small area first.
Does it contain the forest microbe extract?
No. Glow Serum is built on maitake extract and northern plant ingredients. The Humus Extract products are a separate part of the range.
