Greenfinn's Wild Bilberry Powder

Greenfinn's bilberry powder, which is made of Finnish wild bilberries, contains the peels and seeds of the berries in addition to the pulp. One jar contains as many as 5,000 bilberries! High in fibre.

Berries only, does not contain any additives or sugar. One jar contains 0.7 kg of wild bilberries. The bilberry powder is a very versatile berry product with a long shelf-life, and it gives, e.g., smoothies a nice bilberry taste. Berry powders are easy to use: just sprinkle some in your food or drink and enjoy.

Finnish bilberries

The Vaccinium myrtillus bilberries growing in Finnish forests are particularly tasty, as the long summer nights make them special. Due to its gentle taste, bilberry is a very popular berry in Finland – both fresh and frozen.

What makes the dried Greenfinn's bilberries so handy is that they are available all year round and even a small amount each day suffices. It is always good to have a jar around so that you can add some powder to various dishes every day.

How to use

Add two to four teaspoonfuls to a smoothie or yogurt. The safe and familiar bilberry goes well with many dishes, and it can be used generously.

Powdered and crushed berries are excellently suited for baking and desserts. Try, for instance, adding crushed bilberries on top of home-made chocolate truffles. Roll the chocolate balls or truffles in the berry powder to make delicious bilberry chocolate.
